Winter is the time of pitha-puli Puli cake, Patisapta, Puya cake.  Many people do not get time to make cake due to busyness. In this case, if you know a simple recipe, you can make some fun winter cakes even on holidays. The recipe was given by chef Lakhia Habiba Sultan.

1. Puli cake

Materials:

1. For pur:

  1. Coconut Cora 2 cups
  2. 1 cup of date molasses
  3. 2 tablespoons of rice powder taken from the tail
  4. Powdered cardamom 1/2 teaspoon

2. For bread:

  1. 1 cup of flour
  2. 3 cups of water
  3. 3 cups of rice powder
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Soybean oil 1 tbsp

Method:

In a bowl, mix corano coconut, date molasses, rice powder and cardamom powder together and give some fuel. When it is dry and sticky, take it down and pour it in a bowl for pur. Now for 3 cups of hot rice powder, put three cups of water in the oven and mix salt and oil in it. Now mix rice powder in hot water, shake it well, take it out of the oven, cool it and make a paste. Now you have to make small round bread and fold it with coconut and make it like puli pitha. If you want you can also use the mold of puli cake. Now put water in a pot, put a perforated pot on it, put the cakes and steam it. When the cake is cooked, take it down. If you want, you can also eat this cake fried in oil.

2. Patisapata

Materials:

1. For pur:

  1. Roasted rice powder 2 tablespoons
  2. Milk Malai 2 tablespoons
  3. 1/2 cup of sugar

2. For bread:

  1. Atap rice powder 250 grams
  2. 250 grams of date molasses
  3. 1 liter of milk
  4. 2 pinches of salt
  5. Like the amount of water

Method:

Add condensed milk, malai, sugar and rice powder (for pur). Stir well and when dry, remove from the oven and pour into a container. It became milky.

Now the amount of date molasses should be sifted with water and fuel. There will be no dirt in the molasses. Then mix rice powder, sifted date molasses and salt together. This mixture will not be too thin. Medium quality will be dense. Then in a nonstick pan with a little oil, lightly turn two large spoons in it and turn it into a round like bread. In the meanwhile, if you make bread roll in the form of bread roll with the amount of khirsa made earlier, it will become patisapta pitha.

3. Puyapitha

Materials:

  1. 3 cups of hot rice powder
  2. 1/2 cup of coconut
  3. Flour 1 tbsp
  4. 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  5. 1 cup of date molasses
  6. 2 eggs
  7. 1 pinch of salt
  8. 1 cup of oil
  9. Like the amount of water

Method:

All the ingredients except oil should be mixed together and left for one hour. The mixture should then be stirred with a large spoon so that all the ingredients are well mixed. Heat oil in a pan. Now with a large spoon, one teaspoon should be fried in red oil.
